Conditions

Usually included in the prices
  • Accommodation and meals from the beginning to the end of the tour.
  • Transport between the places related to the programmed activities.
  • Tourist guidance in Spanish.
  • Porters at the destinations for assisting with the luggage.
  • Entrance to the programmed locations.
  • Activities according to the itinerary and equipment to carry them out.
  • Activities depending on the group size.
  • Local fruits and snacks during the programmed activities.
Usually not included in the prices
  • Flight tickets
  • Tourism Contribution charged by local authorities on arrival to Leticia's airport (COP 18,500 in 2011, USD 9.00 approx., Art. 244 Estatuto Tributario).
  • The activity of canopying. Activities or services depending on the group size or marked as "Optional" or "Not included".
  • Hotel, meals and all other expenses on days not included in the itinerary.
  • Unestimated extras, laundry, telephone calls, tips and personal expenses.
  • Alcoholic drinks and all other drinks and food not included in the itinerary.
  • Insurances.
  • Any other expenses before the start of the tour or after its ending.
  • Other expenses not mentioned.
Conditions
  • According to your plan and nationality, you must carry a passport, valid for at least six further months.
  • International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is compulsory.
  • Colombian citizens do not require a visa to enter Brazil or Peru. Citizens of other countries must consult either the appropriate embassies or travel agencies of their choice for advice on visas.
  • Under aged Colombians travelling to Brazil without their parents must have two permissions signed by both parents, copies of birth civil registry and biological parents' identifications. These documents must be authenticated before a notary.
  • Remember to reconfirm your flight reservations.
  • It is strongly recommended to read the document "Preparation and equipment"
  • The itinerary may be modified; in this case we will inform you in advance.
  • Accommodation in some destinations may be mixed and/or shared.
  • Please inform Borugo about any special diet or physical restrictions, limitations or exclusions at the time of booking.
  • If you cancel your booking after paying a deposit or the full amount, the deposit may be transferred for use to another person for the same itinerary (Ley 300/1996).
  • A refund will not be made upon activities not undertaken or services not used. If, for any reason, an activity is suspended by Borugo, it will be replaced.
  • The activity of canopying is not operated by Borugo neither included in the prices, and it is considered a contract between the operator in charge and the visitor exclusively.
  • Borugo strongly rejects sex tourism. Exploitation and sexual abuse of underage persons are illegal, and are sanctioned penal and administratively (Ley 679/2001).
Payment
  • A deposit amounting to 50% of the total cost of the tour must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of the cost must be paid at least eight days prior to arrival to Leticia.
